Adding the file path to a Word 2007 Document

To add the file path and name to a Word 2007 document follow these steps (previous versions of Word are similar)

• Click Insert->Quick Parts->Field


• Choose Document Information from the Categories drop-down
  
• Select FileName from the Field Name


• Choose formatting as desired


• Check the Add path to filename check box if you want the full path


• Click Ok
